Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Loaning Sophie Turner Her NYC Apartment Amid Joe Jonas Divorce

Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner have seemingly become fast friends amid the actress's divorce from Joe Jonas. 

After taking Turner out on multiple girls' nights out in New York City to get her mind off the split, Swift's latest friendship gesture truly went above and beyond. According to multiple reports, the singer handed over the keys to her Tribeca apartment to Turner, as well as her two daughters — Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1 — while she works out her custody arrangement with Jonas.

Page Six, who was the first to report the news, says Swift uses the apartment as an investment property, and offered it to Turner as a temporary home. In photos obtained by the outlet, Sophie could be seen loading two big suitcases and a travel crib into a black SUV. And just the next day, Sophie was spotted out taking a stroll in the downtown neighborhood with a friend, wearing a black cropped T-shirt, light-wash jeans, blue Nike sneakers, and a mini Louis Vuitton bag. 

The news of Sophie's new living arrangement comes a week after she sued Jonas for the "wrongful retainment" of their two children, accusing him of holding onto their passports to stop them from returning to England, which Sophie says she and Jonas agreed to make their "forever home." Jonas denied the allegation in a statement that same day, and a judge later ordered that the children stay in New York until the details of the pair's divorce are finalized. 

"The parties have agreed to the entry of the attached proposed Interim Consent Order, without prejudice to either party's claims and defenses, prohibiting the removal of the parties' children from the jurisdictions of the United States District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York pending further order of this Court," court documents read, adding that if anyone breaks the rules, the court has the right to "take measures under Federal or State law, as appropriate, to protect the well-being of the child involved."
